Background | Mi Enfoque

It was a blue sunny day in El Paso TX, USA. I do not recall how we got there me and my other sibling. what really made an imprint on my 7-8 year old brain was getting on a large round tire. I hang on it over the edge to cross a wide surface of water deep enough to swallow my body.

My childhood made its day in my beautiful country that i proudly call home: Mexico. I have good memories; little adventures with neighborhood friends, been a menace, nightmares at night, and around freedom. As the second youngest of five ( a younger sister died at birth) I was part of a

single-parent family.

Personal development was not all smooth sailing. Although i had older siblings i did not felt  the experience of guidance from a mentor. I basically went with the sail or who ever was navigating the ship, if there was one.

I started to figured it out by myself, questioning and understanding the world around me in my late teens from the religious beliefs that mother influenced in us to other things i could possibly can and still do to this day.

Faith in God is very common in Mexican culture where you'll find Catholics, Judaism, branches of Protestantism  and even non-believers. I'm not involved with any religion and I'm not a sympathizer of religious fanatism but i do consider myself a spiritual person.

The most challenging milestone to reach was finishing school and my career development. Today, landing the right job and keeping it is like losing to win the lottery where only a few are "lucky", and the 'casino owners' who control it have it all. It can be very satisfying feeling fulfill at the end of the day when you have the job just right for you. We spend most of our time working so "choosing" your career cannot be taken slightly. This is my personal opinion.

Fast forward. My path toward cybersecurity was not linear, but it was inevitable. I began in electrical technology, but after a decisive transition, I found my true calling in computer science, web development, and ultimately, the protection of digital assets.

I define myself as a Digital Asset Security Analyst—a title that encapsulates my holistic approach: a combination of web development, intentional design, and effective security hardening. My focus also extends to the prevention and reporting of brand impersonation.

Due to the high costs of traditional higher education in the U.S., where it is often treated as a privilege rather than a right—and driven by a natural inclination for deep, individual study—I pursued the majority of my education online. To this day, I remain a perpetual student; in this industry, no one is ever truly a final expert because technology evolves so rapidly.

One must constantly learn to stay ahead, and personally, I have always loved the process of discovery.

This path did not just allow me to specialize in site auditing and web endpoint security; it forged in me a discipline of continuous learning and an obsessive attention to detail.

My brain is programmed for analysis. Because my social life wasn't always easy and I was often treated differently for being 'different,' I learned to navigate the world on my own. Where others see a social environment, I see systems; where others see a website, I see 'attack vectors' and opportunities for optimization.

I am not an individualist, and while I am fully capable of team collaboration, my greatest strength lies in my capacity for solitary concentration—allowing me to deconstruct complex problems down to their smallest components.

I don't believe in being a jack-of-all-trades. Instead, I choose to spend my time on deliberate pursuits that sharpen my mind. When I’m not auditing systems or shielding digital assets, you’ll find me:

  • Under the hood. I am passionate about automotive mechanics—I love taking things apart and fixing them. Understanding how every gear functions follows the same logic I apply when deconstructing a website or app to make it more secure.

  • In the music. I play guitar and compose my own music. Music, much like programming, is a structure of patterns that requires a unique balance of precision and creativity.

  • In the books. I have an insatiable thirst for reading, deep thinking, and information analysis—traits that align my personal passions with my professional rigor.

My Personality

Have fun seen my test results from the Big Five Assessment Test. The Big Five Test is the most closets and accurate personality test. Phycologists learned that personality continues to develop and change up to age 40 and after age 40 our traits further stabilize. So i assume that the chart below is not fixed.
